"A motion to adjourn is always in order."

One more week...

...but not the usual. I started my new job on Monday and have been working
6:00am to 3:00pm while I learn to back up the Wang VS. I won't be on those
hours normally, but this week I am quite fatigued (what most people call
pooped). Still, there is news:

/Links...

Yet another Relay has been added to the system. This one is running at the
University of Buffalo and has assumed the name of MASRELAY@UBVM. Thanks to
Jeff Kell and Mark Sincock for the information.

New feature...

From time to time the Bitnotes will feature a Spotlight on a particular file
server, ame server, or Listserv group. The feature subject is picked by yours
truly, with no undue influence from anyone (yet). Here's the first one:

         / -----------------------------------------------------------------+
SPOTLIGHT) TCSSERVE @ TCSVM ³
         › -----------------------------------------------------------------+

TCSSERVE@TCSVM is a file server at Tulane University. It responds to the
following commands:

HELP - where is HELP, DIR or SENDME. You will be sent
more information on how to use a particular command. If
the parameter is omitted a list of valid
                    commands is sent.

DIRectory - You will be sent a list of files that are currently
                    available to all TCSSERVE users.

SENDme - where is the filename and filetype of the file
you want to be sent to you.

*PLEASE NOTE* - TCSSERVE sends you files in the SENDFILE format.

That's all...

That will conclude the Bitnotes for this week. Next week there will be no
news but a lot of other fun stuff. See you then.

                                 Virtually;

                                    Chris
                                    (Fuzzyman)
                                    BITLIB@YALEVMX

COMING SOON: May 30, to be exact. It's the Bitlist Special First Anniversary
Issue (say that three time fast). It will include highlights of the past year
(including a look at which of my predictions turned out okay and which ones
bombed). I might even make some predictions for the next year if I feel lucky.
